it may've been an actor portraying L instead of his more familiar illustrated incarnation, but damn, watching the guy try and stand upright was fucking awesome. XD I also enjoyed seeing the return of the sweet-kabob (is it just me, or does that only appear in the live-action movies?). -Yamato

I don't ever recall really seeing it in the anime, so yeah, I'd say it's a movie creation.
