This is a featured picture, which means that members of the community have identified it as one of the finest images on the English Wikipedia. Pretty crazy, eh? Check out a larger version of the pic here:

This is just a reminder that (for most of the English speaking world) Daylight Savings Time has come to an end, & you should make sure your clocks are set back an hour. The proof? Look at the time this post was made. Although posted AFTER the previous 2 entries, the time says it was made BEFORE them. Time traveling power!! Adult Swim is "celebrating" this extra hour by airing the final 2 eps of Cowboy Bebop in it. Enjoy the extra hour of sleep!

EDIT: OK, this didn't work out as cool as I thought it would. LJ put this entry before the previous 2 entries to match the timing, & RSS feeds don't seem to think this entry exists at all (it's a phantom post!). But trust me, this was posted after the above 2. =b

This story has been going around a lot lately. There's a new ringtone out that only younger people are able to hear. The theory behind it was so kids could use their cells in school without their teachers hearing them go off. The reason why adults can't hear it is because the tone is so high pitched it can't be detected by adults since their hearing has aged & becomes harder to hear such frequencies. According to a study, the average person cannot be able to detect the tone at about age 18 and up. Despite that, I was able to hear the tone clearly. Although my parents couldn't.

So how about all of you out there? Are you able to hear the tone, & if so what's your age? You can download the tone for yourself & find out if your ears are good enough (& young enough) to hear it:

AOL seems to be copying everything lately. Their latest targets are popular "Web 2.0" sites Digg & YouTube, doing so by launching the next evolution of Netscape.com. Their video uploading system has some YouTube ideas in its shadows, but its the main Digg-like part of the site that really stands out. But no matter how good the new Netscape.com might get, there's one thing it'll never have over Digg. & that would be Diggnation. But you can check out the Beta of the new site below:

Apparently we humans can now create a sixth sense for ourselves; the sense of magnatism. This is completely true. People havve started implanting tiny magnets in the tip of their index fingers, & are now able to detect things like when a hard drive is about to freeze up or if an electrical cord is live or not before touching it. Seems pretty cool, but just don't try it at home kids. Best to have it done professionally if you choose to do so. I would actually consider doing it, if it wasn't for the fact that it looks kinda ugly.

Supposedly this is the world's most unhealthiest burger. You take a Krispy Kreme classic glazed donut, cut it in half, grill it, & use it like a bun for your burger. Add cheese & bacon, & you got yourself the ultimate treate. I haven't tried it for myself, but it's supposed to be surprisingly delicious. & since the sports team that sells it is right here in my home state of Illinois, I just might pay the place of visit. Sure, it's a heart attack waiting to happen. But you only live once. =b

It seems AOL has made their own MySpace copy with AIM Pages. Personally I think all these kinda sites are stupid, but that's just me. I mean, with all the success MySpace has why not copy it? Who cares about originality any more? If you wish so, you can check it out here:
